Christine For Mayor Of El Monte

I'm Christine Sarmiento, a Public Health Nurse, an Operations Manager, and a mother of five, running for Mayor of El Monte.

This channel is where I talk directly to residents about what's happening in our city and where I stand on it: housing, public health, parks, and city spending, among other things. I answer questions here too, not just talking points.

I ran for Governor of California in 2026 as an independent. That race taught me a lot, and it's part of why I want to bring this same work closer to home, to the city where I've lived and finally bought my first home.

El Monte has real potential. I want to help this city reach it.

Follow for updates and solutions for El Monte's future.
