Chinese Association of Western Massachusetts

Founded around 20 years ago, the Chinese Association of Western Massachusetts (CAWM) initially aimed to unite local Chinese immigrant families in celebrating traditional holidays together. Over time, these celebrations grew, attracting more families and communities. We discovered that celebrating cultural diversity together not only educates our children about their heritage but also fosters connections among different cultures and communities.

Since officially becoming a non-profit organization in 2013, CAWM has remained committed to enriching the lives of local Chinese American families through cultural events and has expanded into culture education, youth leadership, and community engagement. Our organization operates entirely on volunteer support, from the leadership team to everyone involved.
