Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage Trust

On the quiet banks of the Kafue River, Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage Trust (CWOT or Chimfunshi) stands as a beacon amidst 10,000 hectares of Zambia’s majestic Miombo forests and wetlands (dumbos). For more than four decades, we have dedicated ourselves to conserving endangered species, empowering local communities and promoting sustainable practices that harmonise humanity with nature.
