Cherokee Community of North Texas CCNT

The Cherokee Community of North Texas (CCNT) is a community dedicated to promoting language, culture, history, and traditions of the Cherokee. We are a non-political, tax exempt, non-profit, Native American organization incorporated within the State of Texas and recognized as an At-Large community by Cherokee Nation.  CCNT is committed to building fellowship among local Cherokees and other tribes across North Texas from Lubbock in the west to Longview in the East to Denton in the North. Our members celebrate our love for the Cherokee people and Nation, our shared history, heritage, and our interest in the continuation of Cherokee traditions, culture, and language.
