Carla Werning | Living In Iowa

Hi, I’m Carla Werning! Come explore homes, neighborhoods, and what it’s like to live in and around Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and the Eastern Iowa Corridor with me.

I grew up in Dyersville, Iowa, now call Solon home, and have been a Realtor with Ruhl&Ruhl Realtors since 2012. I love helping people get to know this area, from finding a home to finding their favorite local spot.

Outside of real estate, you’ll often find me kayaking at Lake Macbride, golfing, exploring a nearby trail with my husband and our golden retriever, Maverick, or checking out a local patio with friends.

Here, I share home tours, local businesses, community highlights, and practical advice on buying, selling, and moving to Iowa. You’ll get a feel for what it’s like to live here and get to know me along the way.

Thinking about moving here? Already a local? Come along, there’s always more to explore!
