Carl Pugh | Cyber Security Explained

I’ve worked in IT for 30 years. I started out fixing computers, worked my way up to IT Director, and I’ve run my own IT company for the last 13 years. I’ve taken my own business through Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001, so I know what it costs and what it asks of you.

On this channel, I explain cyber security in plain English for people who run UK businesses. You don’t need to be technical. If you’ve been asked for Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus, heard about an attack in the news and wondered whether it affects you, or want to know where to start, this is for you.

I post honest advice with no jargon and no sales pitch. When a big security problem hits the news, I’ll tell you what it means for your business and what to do about it.
