Underwater acoustics, sonar and deep learning, explained by an engineer who designed for them.

I am Capt (Dr) Sunil Tyagi, Indian Navy (Retd), PhD in underwater acoustics. I headed the Acoustic Stealth Group at the Directorate of Submarine Design, and now run Oravont Systems LLP, a defence R&D practice in Noida.

Videos are built from my papers, patents and technical notes:
• Submarine target strength and acoustic stealth
• Passive sonar signal processing: ship-radiated noise, DEMON
• Deep learning for underwater acoustics: vessel classification and re-identification, synthetic data
• Machine-learning fault diagnosis of rotating machinery

Every number and figure comes from its source; the full article is linked under each video.
