Cacao Huasi | Life in a Chocolate House

Life inside a working chocolate house in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica.
We make chocolate every day at Cacao Huasi, using cacao from the Costa Rican Caribbean. This channel is where we share the smaller moments of that work — roasting cacao, checking the machines, tempering and moulding chocolate, wrapping bars, making desserts and cacao drinks, experimenting with new flavours, and occasionally figuring out what went wrong.
But life at Cacao Huasi is more than chocolate. You’ll also find what’s growing around us, preparations for Kirtan and community events, the people who pass through, rainy Caribbean mornings, sunsets over the sea, and the ordinary rhythms of running a chocolate house in Puerto Viejo.
Mostly Shorts. Sometimes longer videos. Nothing very polished.
Just what we're making, learning and doing today.
