Rehabilitation Center For Blind Adults

The Rehabilitation Center for Blind Adults-CRAC, is a private non-profit foundation, with more than half a century of experience in the comprehensive rehabilitation of people with visual disabilities, which is authorized as IPS by the Bogotá health secretary and which has stood out nationally and internationally as a pioneer in the rehabilitation of blind and visually impaired people thanks to a comprehensive rehabilitation model validated with representatives from Chile, Uruguay and Cuba before the Latin American Union of the Blind ULAC, which is based on the concept of "Triad" as a work strategy where the visually impaired person, their family and the institution, actively and dynamically participate in the construction of the user's independence and autonomy, to facilitate their social inclusion.

Similarly, the CRAC is at the forefront of the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of low vision in Colombia thanks to a high-quality program.
