Creative Gaming & Simulation @ Norfolk State University

The Creative Gaming & Simulation (CGS) Lab at Norfolk State University (NSU) is a 3700 sp.ft. state-of-the-art research facility focusing on the design/development of innovative solutions for STEM and Medical educational applications incorporating Motion Capture (MoCap) technology and embedded assessment. CGS has recently established a state-of-the-art motion capture (MoCap) lab equipped with Vicon's cutting-edge MoCap hardware and software.  CGS is the first Educational facility in North America to acuire and use the Vicon CARA head mount MoCap system. This new facility allows the development of realistic animations (both full-body and facial motion) that can be used in technical, medical, and military training simulations/solutions. CGS develops groundbreaking applications that are a niche over others' working in interactive simulation and game development.
