Climate Action, Innovation and Engagement

The Centre for Climate Action, Innovation and Engagement (CCAIE) is an African climate-readiness institution working across evidence, education and innovation.

On this channel we publish the Climate Readiness Series, an African knowledge and action platform examining how governments, institutions and communities prepare for escalating climate risk. Each episode brings researchers, practitioners and community leaders together on a question African decision-makers face now. Topics range from what a world above 1.5°C means for Africa to how young Africans move from climate awareness to skills, jobs and responsibility.

You will find full sessions with chapters and captions, short clips, and links to the session note that accompanies each episode.

CCAIE’s Climate Action Index assesses climate readiness across all 36 Nigerian states and the Federal Capital Territory. CCAIE is registered in Nigeria and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) in the United States.
