CBMR at the University of Copenhagen

The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research (CBMR) was established to drive forward fundamental research into these diseases. It applies a multidisciplinary approach, combining research in genetics, physiology and pharmacology.

Our vision is to strengthen interdisciplinary research that transforms the basic understanding of the mechanisms involved in metabolic health and disease, and to accelerate this knowledge toward new prevention and treatment strategies.
