Built and Human

What does it mean to be human? To find the answer, we must look at the structures we build.

"Built and Human" explores the city as the primary engine of civilization. While other conversations focus on the "how" of urbanism—the transit lines and zoning codes—we focus on the why.

Why is the city the essential soil for human culture? How do the physical walls of our streets shape the intangible limits of our societies? We examine the city not as mere infrastructure, but as an extended phenotype—a biological imperative as natural to a human as a honeycomb is to a bee.

This is a love letter to urbanism; a deep dive into the intersection of history, technology, and the social bonds only density can create. We believe a society is only as healthy as its cities. Join us as we explore the built environment—not just as planners, but as people.

Cities are our behavioral evolution. This is the story of our hive.
