Buddhist Churches of America

The Buddhist Churches of America (BCA) is a Buddhist organization of the Jodo Shinshu sect. It offers a place of connection, engagement, and learning of the Dharma.  Jodo Shinshu was founded by Shinran Shonin over 800 years ago, with the intention to make the heart of the Buddhist path accessible to anyone.  The BCA became an organization in the United States in 1899.  Now with over 59 temples, churches, and fellowships, the BCA helps over 12,000 members and affiliated organization's stay connected to a Shin Buddhist way of life.
