Mo | Break Into Banking UK

My name is Mo Elmoussati.

I spent 7 years in front-office investment banking at Deutsche Bank, became VP, and later interviewed candidates across 3 recruitment cycles — after going through the Spring → Summer → Graduate process myself.

This channel is where I share what matters if you’re trying to break into banking - and what the industry is like once you’re in.

I cover Spring Weeks, Summer Internships, Graduate roles, CVs, applications, HireVues, interviews, technicals, commercial awareness, networking, careers in banking, markets and what happens behind the scenes inside investment banks.

I’ll also share what I learned from 7 years in the industry, how I’d approach the process if I were starting again today, and the mistakes I saw candidates make again and again.

If you’re serious about breaking into banking, you’re in the right place.
