Hi, we're Abena & Alex – we're not an NGO, but nitty-gritty farmers -  a tiny family venture running a small breadfruit agroforestry in Ghana 🌳.

This channel is about a fruit no one talks about — but maybe should...

Breadfruit has the potential to feed millions, regreen lands & reduce imports — if we overcome key hurdles:

✔️affordable processing tech
     ( Peeling tools, hammermills, solar dryers. No one wants to hand-cut hard fruit the size of small pumpkins)

✔️better recipes (see below)

✔️real infrastructure & awareness 
 ( We need: Tissue Propagation Equipment + Processing Facilities + Governments that understand the potential +  a Movement.)

We're testing solutions hands-on: blending BF with other starches and flours like tapioca, building low-tech dryers, purchasing food extruders and sharing experiences as we go (gradually, cos the world kept us tooo busy).
