Branding for Doctors with Dr. Ty

Dr. Tyeese Gaines (aka "Dr. Ty") wears many hats, but her mission is to bring more well-informed health information to the public... connecting doctors with the lay public.

She does this by helping doctors figure out their niche, build their brand, use social media appropriately and prepare for TV interviews. She also teaches patients about their health, either one-on-one or as a medical expert on various news outlets.

Dr. Ty is a seasoned journalist, having worked in news for 16+ years after earning her master's degree in journalism. After interning at media outlets such as WAVE3 (NBC) in Louisville and WCVB (ABC) in Boston, she got her start as an associate producer for NBC6/WTVJ in Miami during medical school. Over the years, Dr. Ty has appeared as an on-air medical expert for local, online and national news shows and has written for various online, magazine and newspaper outlets.

She is a board-certified emergency medicine physician.
