Bouncing Olive

How To Make An Olive Bounce Twice.

Nine businesses. Forty-five years. This is the final act.

In Brisbane, I co-created a food business called Bouncing Olive. It became the stepping stone to co-creating B1G1.

Though I moved on from B1G1 over fifteen years ago, helping lay its foundation changed how I view business forever.

Three more ventures, three countries, sixteen years on a farm in the Philippines, and an entire life later — I found the domain sitting empty again. The food business had gone bust. The name had come back to me.

How do you make an olive bounce twice? You live an entire lifetime in between.

Today, Bouncing Olive is being reborn inside Seresa. Not as a food business, but as global source-available accounting software for small businesses.

It was born inside Seresa, my 9th and final company.

But the real experiment: I’m not just open-sourcing the code. I’m open-sourcing the creation journey.

WELCOME ABOARD!
