This channel was born from a long-overdue promise to my children to read them Frankenstein, but will ultimately expand to other beloved classics. The name 'Books in a Box' pays homage to my childhood, where my mom's paperback books ended up in stacks and stacks of boxes. I'd take a box and sell each book for a quarter outside a liquor store and then treat myself to candy and soda. Though decades have passed, the memory endures, inspiring this channel.
