Self-reliance in all its avenues; frugal living, appropriate prepping, making do, gardening, writing books, creating online content and products and sometimes crafting is what we are about. 
We hope it will inspire others to find their own way to have that homesteading life, no matter what house or flat (apartment) they live in and whether they have a garden or not. 
We also hope that sharing how we build resilience, financial security and resourcefulness will help you in your own self-sufficiency goals.
Here at Blue Garden Cottage, Hubby and I grow, preserve, craft, make-do-and-mend, reduce, reuse, up-cycle and recycle. I write books and create blogs on UK suburban homesteading (part of our self-sufficiency lifestyle) and more.
