Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Birds (USPB) is an independent, membership NGO that was set up in April 1994 as a BirdLife International partner in Ukraine. USPB puts much effort in conservation of birds living in and migrating through Ukraine. In addition to monitoring populations of threatened and endangered bird species, USPB advocates protection of habitats and sites that are important nesting and staging areas for the birds, as well as environment in general.
