Beyond Barriers Travel Co.

Accessible travel vlogs, wheelchair friendly hotel reviews and solo travel guides from Wes Hamilton.

I don't travel to escape my reality. I travel because this is my reality.

I'm Wesley Hamilton, a Black man traveling the world solo in a wheelchair and the founder of Beyond Barriers Travel Co. I explore culture, food, history and accessibility, and show you what it looks like to roll through it: the wins, the "accessible" hotel rooms that aren't, the views worth the climb and the people who make a place feel like home.

Watch Wheel Solo: Asia, my series in Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, China and the Philippines.

Black travelers and disabled travelers rarely see themselves in travel content. I'm changing that, one country at a time.

16 countries so far. Next up is Beyond 100: 100 countries in 5 years, starting in 2027.

Accessibility isn't just about disability. It's about belonging. Circumstance is not destiny.
