Bernard Leo Remakus, M.D.

Dr. Bernard Leo Remakus, M.D. is an award-winning physician and author from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He has written six novels: The Other Disney, The Paraclete, Keystone, Cassidy’s Solution, Mia, and The Lame Duck; three nonfiction books: The Malpractice Epidemic: A Layman’s Guide to Medical Malpractice, Medicine From The Heart, and Medicine Between The Lines; the screenplay Mia; and the poetry collection Superstar.

With more than 45 years of experience in internal medicine and over 200 published medical and scientific articles, Dr. Remakus brings a unique perspective to his writing. His books explore medical, psychological, social, human-interest, and thriller themes, and several have received international recognition and awards.
