Connecting Voices of the Diaspora
There are stories at the bottom of the Atlantic that never made it to shore. There are filmmakers in Hamilton, in Kingston, in Port-au-Prince, in Atlanta, in London, who are telling the stories their grandmothers carried, with cameras instead of memory, and still cannot get them into the rooms where they need to be seen.

A place that has watched the ships pass for centuries, carrying our histories in both directions, and has never forgotten what was lost along the way.

We are calling the filmmakers, the directors, the producers, the writers, and the storytellers of the Caribbean, of Black America, of the African continent, and of every diaspora community that has been building its own screen culture in the margins of an industry that was not built for us.

We are calling you to Bermuda.
