BeScaled, Interreg Central Baltic Programme

Baltic Scale-up Ecosystem for Security, National Defence, and Crisis Resilience Businesses. BeScaled will guide 40 non-DS start-ups through a structured six-stage pre-accelerator program, ultimately scaling up 25 of them into growth companies within the defence and security (DS) sector. Through onboarding, consulting, innovation programs, and access to EU and NATO ecosystems, the project will build start-ups’ capabilities in dual-use technologies and business models. This will strengthen cross-border collaboration between Finland and Estonia, enabling joint innovation and faster market entry. The result is a more resilient and competitive Baltic DS ecosystem, with enhanced capacity to address regional security and crisis resilience challenges.
