Bateman Original Designs

Bateman Original Designs is a Melbourne-based design studio creating handcrafted hats, fascinators, bow ties, cravats and fashion accessories.

Our work combines traditional millinery and sewing techniques with a love of individuality, history and beautifully made pieces. Many designs are one-of-a-kind, using a mix of new, vintage and repurposed materials.

This channel gives you a closer look at the work behind Bateman Original Designs — from finished pieces and rotating product views to the making process, details, heritage and stories behind the designs.
