We explore the golden age of Hollywood in all its glamour and shadow — the powerful studio system that built empires, the stars it manufactured and sometimes destroyed, and the scandals it buried for decades.

Our videos are made for curious viewers who want more than surface-level celebrity history. If you find yourself asking what really happened behind the velvet curtain of old Hollywood, you are exactly who we make this for. We dig into primary sources, trade papers, and long-overlooked accounts to bring these stories the depth they deserve.

Based in the United States, we publish two new videos every week, covering everything from the contract player era and the moguls who ruled it to the cover-ups that protected careers and reputations at any cost.

This is not gossip. It is history that happens to be stranger and more compelling than most people realize.
