Australian Braford Society

Established on 13 September 1963, the Australian Braford Society has proudly represented and promoted the Braford breed throughout Australia for more than 60 years.

Brafords are renowned for combining the adaptability, fertility and tick resistance of the Brahman with the productivity, carcase quality and temperament of the Hereford, making them one of Australia's most versatile and commercially successful beef breeds.

Whether you're a long-time Braford breeder, a commercial producer or simply interested in Australia's beef industry, we'd love to have you along for the journey.
