At the Wellspring Music - Joshua Elzner

I am a traditional composer whose focus lies in instrumental, neoclassical, and ambient music, with a particular touch of "naturalness." What I mean by this is that I compose using classical notation rather than working in a digital audio workstation (DAW), except in the case of a few instruments that I cannot use otherwise. And by "naturalness" I intend to say that I aim to write music that can actually be performed by live instruments in an ensemble or orchestra setting, using real recordings rather than computer generated or synthetic sounds, so as to express in some way the "incarnate" nature of all beauty as an expression of the one Word who, out of love for us, "became flesh and pitched his tent among us" (John 1:14). While I do not consider myself a professional composer, and know that I have much to learn, I deeply love music and hope that you shall find in what I share some glimpses of the beauty that I seek to serve and to communicate.
