Ataraxia Official

Ataraxia is a heavy/thrash metal band from Kungshamn, Sweden. The idea of the band was formed when the guitarists Oscar Östman from Smögen and Abbe André from Trollhättan found each other on Facebook. As the 2023 spring culminated, Alfons Myrvold from Strömstad joined the band as basist and vocalist. When summer came to an end, the line-up was complete with David Klys from Älvängen joining them on drums, which marked the beginning of Ataraxia.

On the 22nd of March, the band will release their debut album "Torments of Reality", which aims to dissect the current situation in the world, in regards to wars, prejudice and threats to democracy.
