| AAE | Asian American Emotions

Our vision is to uplift the Asian American and East Asian American community one resource at a time.

I’m a DBT therapist, Chinese American, wife, mom, first-born daughter of immigrants, Bay Area native, follower of Jesus, and lifelong collector of wisdom.

I created this channel as a space for conversations around mental health, culture, identity, and faith—especially the challenges many Asian Americans and East Asians quietly carry.

We talk about anxiety, perfectionism, family conflict, identity struggles, school and career pressure, people-pleasing, and the stress of growing up in fast-paced, high-achieving environments.

The tools I share are grounded in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), an evidence-based approach to emotional health, while also being adapted to the values, experiences, and realities many East Asian Americans navigate every day.
