Swami Guhatmananda was initially guided by Swami Omkarananda and then studied Advaita Vedānta under the intense guidance of Pūjya Swami Dayānanda Saraswati and Swami Brahma Vidyananda Saraswati at Rishikesh.He was also blessed to continue his studies,further under Swami Paramarthananda of Chennai and Swami Divyananda Mandaleshwar.He has Undergone extensive training in Yoga and Prāṇayama at the BKS Iyengar School of Yogic Studies and also has received lessons from many (Acharyas) in Rishikesh and Kashi.His indepth study and research in jyotiṣa śāstra,has led him to guide peopleSwamiji’s unique teaching style is to make difficult concepts simple because of his indepth knowledge on Vedanta and Śrī Vidyā. Swamiji beautifully blends the two, while teaching, thereby helping every student to lead a practical vedantic life style.Swamiji reiterates to his disciples that “Ignorance of worldly knowledge is inconsequential, Ignorance of the Self is the main cause of all problems and sufferings.”
