"the chronic life" by Arachnoiditis Unfiltered was founded by Steve Lovelace to educate, advocate, & entertain those living with chronic pain, rare diseases, & chronic illness. Laughter should not be lost after a diagnosis.

A pioneer in triathlon & paratriathlon, Steve survived a catastrophic accident that temporarily left him paralyzed below the waist. Refusing to let his injuries define him, he helped break barriers for athletes with disabilities & later earned a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology from the University of Oklahoma. In 1986 he became the second disabled athlete to complete a triathlon, becoming an unwitting pioneer of paratriathlon, now a Paralympic sport.

Through candid conversations with patients, caregivers, physicians, researchers, & healthcare innovators, Arachnoiditis Unfiltered bridges the gap between medical expertise and lived experience, amplifying patient voices & advocating for meaningful change.
