AHD - Appalachian History Detectives

I began this channel to teach my homeschooled kid's tangible history by bringing the boring history pages alive during the COVID pandemic. Are you laughing yet? My teenaged son suggested history needed to be more than reading, it needed to be tangible and engaging, so, I bought a Metal Detector and a GoPro and searched for history and set out to have adventures with him. I was hooked. Now, nearing retirement, with kids flying the coop, my search for history and adventures are still an enjoyable way of exploring the world around me while taking you along.
