Antique Investigations

Hello Detectives! :) It all started when a painting I found in a local antique store caught my eye. So, I started digging. Who WAS this painter? I wanted to know everything about them! But, I quickly needed help with the clues I found.

Antique Investigations is where we take real antiques, like paintings, photos, documents, and forgotten objects, and treat them like open cases. We research the people behind them, follow paper trails through archives and records, and collaborate together to try to understand where these objects have been and what the human story is behind each one. Some cases take us into art schools, exhibitions, and personal letters. Some lead straight into World War I and World War II records. Some answer questions. Others just create more. It's all an emotional rollercoaster, but OH so rewarding!
