Ankur-Lost Recipes

ANKUR — forgotten recipes, exact grams.

Ankur means sprout. Every Indian dish has an original method that got lost along the way: sprouted wheat in Multani sohan halwa, yesterday's taar in Old Delhi nihari, tea and amla (not tomato) in Pindi chole. We grow them back — with grams, minutes and heat for home cooks.

Every recipe is traced back to its original method, and every gram is checked before it goes out. Full recipe card in every description.
