I'm Andrew Pritchard, an award winning meteorologist & storm chaser born and raised in the American Midwest. My goal is to capture and communicate the power of the atmosphere through cinematic storm footage, science-driven storytelling, and real-time field reporting. I began storm chasing in 2002 with a passion for filming severe storms and sharing them with anyone who would give me the time, and that same passion drives me 25 years later. Most of my videos are long-form, meant to show the evolution of the entire weather event - the anticipation and anxiety of the forecast, last-minute decisions, the storms, and the emotions that follow. I'm not a full-time storm chaser, but I am a full-time meteorologist and when storms are quiet, I love showing the behind the scenes life of a meteorologist and professional weather nerd.
