Ancient Greek for Mere Mortals

My name is Stephen Trzaskoma. For 23 years, I taught Classics at the University of New Hampshire, and my favorite subject to teach was Classical Greek language, especially the introductory courses, which I taught more frequently than anyone else in my department. I now work at California State University, Los Angeles but my new position no longer affords me the opportunity to teach Ancient Greek. This channel is a way for me to occasionally share information for people who teach or are learning the language and looking for help. This is not a complete course in Greek. Instead, I will tend to put up videos in cases in which my 20+ years of teaching and 35+ years of learning this language have led me to present material in ways that are not simply a repeat of approaches available in countless books, videos and other resources. In other words, to give explanations and illustrations that I have found work for the average person (the "mere mortal" of my channel title) interested in Greek.
