Amos Football Journey

Back in 2023, I decided to pick up soccer/football as a hobby. And since then, it has become a passion of mine.
I am now 32 years old & I play multiple times a week.

Why soccer? I never paid much attention to soccer until I watched the 2022 world cup and a few Netflix documentaries about Sunderland (+ Prime Documentary: All or Nothing Tottenham Hotspurs). Also, I believe in the philosophy that we shouldn't only have hobbies where we consume (read, social media, movies, etc). Rather its healthy to embrace hobbies where we actively create (music, gardening, artwork, etc.) or be active (running, rock climbing, etc.). Soccer is a way for me to socialize, to stay in shape, and is a sport where I am absolutely trash. So I have a lot to learn and its fun for me to see myself adapt, and improve!

My background: Played lacrosse until college. Since then, I stopped playing sports altogether at age 19. Waking myself up to become an athlete at 32 years old has been a struggle but fulfilling. :)
