All About Our House

All About Our House is a collection of videos that document the planning, building, and living at our new home. Join us and see all the features of our house, property tours, and all the projects we are doing along the way to make this place special.

In 2019 we purchased 6.2 acres and began the planning and design of our unique Barndo-inspired home. We sold our subdivision house in March, and by June 2020 we were breaking ground. Our local builder, T4 Construction, who specializes in Timber Framing, was amazing in helping us include some unique ideas like concrete floors with radiant heat, wood ceilings, 2x6 construction with blown in cellulose insulation, metal roof, custom cabinets by David Hulthen Woodworking, and lots of other innovative components. Much of the finished work inside has been done by us, The Schneider’s...and lots more to do!

Join us on our adventure.
