Alison Sahl

I’m Ali, an RN with 30 years of critical care experience who believes “eat less, exercise more” is not a complete health strategy.

Here we talk about midlife, menopause, Hashimoto’s, hormones, metabolism, sleep, stress, nutrition, and the wonderfully weird things your body starts doing in your 40s, 50s, and beyond.

I break down the science and turn it into practical things you can actually use.

Expect straight talk, functional health, lifestyle strategies, and the occasional rant about a healthcare system that sometimes treats symptoms while forgetting the person attached to the lab results.

No magic pills. No fear. No one-size-fits-all protocols.

Just science, experience, curiosity, and common sense.

If you’re a midlife woman who is tired of being tired, frustrated with your weight, confused by your hormones, or ready to take a more active role in your health, you’re in the right place.
