Living situation at College Park

Hey, I’m Alex! I’m highly disturbed by the fact that affordable places in College Park end up being the kind of “taking advantage of people” situation where tenants are either on visas and afraid to speak up, or so drained by living-situation stress that they just leave the neighborhood. I don’t have years of my life to fight in court with management that has zero kindness or humanity, but what I can do is share my experiences as loudly as possible so others don’t engage and let these people keep making money. If the landlord doesn’t understand that it is his responsibility to facilitate a safe, healthy community by educating tenants, consistently informing them, and setting clear boundaries around appropriate behavior, then there is no hope this will ever be resolved.
