Why Alexandrian? The road to Nicaea, where the church guarded the faith entrusted to the Apostles, was paved with the legacy of Alexandria. It was from this city that the great pillars of the faith emerged: Athanasius, who defended the deity of Christ against fierce opposition, and Cyril, who championed the union of the two natures in the Person of the Divine Son. Preserving divine wisdom required both courage and deep fidelity to Scripture—a willingness to carefully contend for “the faith delivered once for all to the saints.” 

In The Alexandrian Institute, we’re reviving this legacy. We cultivate the same intellectual rigor and courageous passion for truth that defined Alexandria’s greatest minds—training a new generation to read Scripture faithfully, think theologically, and engage culture wisely.
