Akajiofo Press

Welcome to Akajiofo Press — a space where memory meets imagination, and storytelling becomes an act of repair.

Here, I share conversations on Nigerian history, the legacy of the civil war, and the long work of national healing. You'll find readings from my novel The City He Never Returned To, behind-the-scenes glimpses of the writing life, and explorations of what I call "speculative repair"—the belief that fiction can be a workshop for tomorrow's politics.

Based in Brussels, with roots in Imo State, Nigeria, Akajiofo Press is dedicated to amplifying voices committed to justice, memory, and the rebuilding of a shared future.
