Aguaje Ramos, the maestro of Cuban rhythms behind "Aguaje Jesus Ramos and his Buena Vista Social Orchestras," is on a mission to revive and share the vibrant beats of Cuban music worldwide. Born in Pinar Del Rio, he's a trombone virtuoso known for defending traditional rhythms like Danzon Boleo, Son, cha cha cha, and mambo. 

Aguaje's fervor and leadership position him as the Quincy Jones of Cuban Music. Having directed the legendary Buena Vista Social Club for two decades, Ramos gathered a diverse ensemble, blending seasoned musicians with young talents. Beyond his instrumental prowess, Ramos earned the nickname "Aguaje" as one who knows how to move in the streets. Indeed, it is a good nickname for a person who moved himself as no other in Cuban music.
