The roots of Advaneo GmbH go back to 2002. Originally founded as a spin-off from a research institute at RWTH Aachen University, the company has been active for over 20 years in the fields of business intelligence, software development, digitalization, data management, and artificial intelligence. Since 2016, the focus has been on implementing secure infrastructures for data-driven business models.

Key topics include data discoverability, secure data exchange, and data monetization across organizational boundaries. Advaneo develops solutions for data management, privacy-preserving data sharing within value chains, and data marketplaces – always with a strong emphasis on data security, governance, and data sovereignty in the B2B sector.

In addition to its strong commitment to research and development projects, Advaneo is also the initiator of the Green Deal Dataspace e. V., an open ecosystem for resilience and sustainability with international members.
