I am saving so much money cooking at home! For 2026, I am paying cash for groceries and not eating fast food at all.  I only eat out for dinner at a restaurant once per week.  I have a budget of $75 per week for groceries, but spend about $50 at restaurants/local coffee or boba shops.

 I tracked every food expense in April so as to set a realistic budget for the rest of the year, and I spent about $700 total for 1 petite middle-aged mom & 1 petite teen. I think I can cut this to $500 per month for the rest of the year.
