The Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute (ABMI), located in Alberta, Canada, is a value-neutral, non-profit scientific organization, and global leader in biodiversity monitoring. While monitoring and tracking changes to Alberta's wildlife and habitats across the province, the ABMI also builds tools and platforms that engage and connect people, from decision makers to amateur naturalists, with the information they need. We operate under the motto that It's Our Nature to Know, so all of our tools and information products are online and free for anyone to use. The ABMI collaborates with a broad range of industry, government, and environmental groups to produce ongoing, relevant, and scientifically credible information and services—for all Albertans, and beyond.
