For Desired Children

The number of women and men struggling with infertility is increasing worldwide, and in Hungary today one in five couples has difficulties conceiving.

Research shows that young Hungarians have a poor understanding of fertility, that there are many myths about how to treat the fertility problem, and that open communication about infertility is hampered by taboos.

The OKFŐ Human Reproduction Directorate aims to develop a supportive and honest dialogue in Hungary, while improving the care system. So that all the desired children can be born!
