AI and Next-generation Wireless Communication Lab

The AI and Next-Generation Wireless Communication Laboratory (ANWCL) is a cutting-edge research laboratory within the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Yıldız Technical University, Istanbul, Türkiye. ANWCL focuses on advancing AI-enabled wireless communication systems, with particular emphasis on beyond-5G and 6G technologies. The laboratory conducts both theoretical and applied research to address real-world challenges in modern communication networks and to develop intelligent, sustainable, and resilient communication infrastructures.

ANWCL’s research covers a wide range of areas, supported by nationally and internationally funded projects, the laboratory actively contributes to scientific innovation and technology transfer.

Led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. F. M. Shahen Shah, ANWCL brings together full-time B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. students in a collaborative research environment focused on high-impact publications, novel technologies, and global collaboration.
